On 9 October 2015, The National Atomic Testing Museum hosted a symposium moderated by renown journalist and investigative reporter George Knapp. Sitting on the panel were Chief Historian at CIA Dr. David Robarge, former CIA electronic engineer at Area 51 Gene Poteat, Former Area 51 Special Projects at Area 51 TD Barnes, and renown aerospace historian Pete Merlin. The panel discussed declassified activities at Area 51 and conducted a question and answer session with a standing room only crowd of professional and general public attendees. The event capped a weeklong reunion of Roadrunners Internationale at the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino. The four panelists are all members of this Area 51 veterans association headed by TD Barnes, President. Supporting the symposium was both the National Atomic Testing Museum Gift Shop, and the CIA EAA store from CIA Headquarters at Langley.
