The National Geographic Channel documentary Area 51 Declassified released on May 22, 2011 has generated acclaims worldwide, however the Annie Jacobsen book, Area 51 an uncensored history of America's Top Secret military base has generated a whirlwind of controversy concerning the author writing and Little Brown publishing the heroics of the Area 51 veterans.
