Business Career of Author T.D. & Doris Barnes
1970's - 1980's
After leaving Area 51 my wife and I moved to our home state of Oklahoma where we purchased a motel and restaurant and started up an oil and gas exploration company. During the next 20 years we drilled and produced in excess of 100 oil and gas wells situated in the states of Oklahoma, Texas and Utah. We sold out during the peak of the oil boom circa 1982 and continued with our mining enterprises that included gold in Colorado, southern Arizona and southern Nevada, and uranium in Colorado and Utah. As you'll note below, today we are providing southern Nevada with landscape rock to replace lawns now forbidden due to the water crisis threatening the western United States.
